Job Requirements
- Evening shift availability preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to follow safety protocols and infection control guidelines

- Basic understanding of floor care techniques is a plus
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to operate commercial laundry machines
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Perform detailed cleaning throughout resident rooms, common areas, and designated facility spaces
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety at all times
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment is cleaned and in proper working condition
- Remove trash and soiled linens
- must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Assist with floor care
- floor tech, stripping, and waxing experience is a plus
- Work collaboratively as part of the Environmental Services team
- Collect, sort, and weigh soiled linens and personal clothing
- Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently
- Fold, organize, and distribute clean linens and garments to units daily
- Follow infection control guidelines when handling soiled items
- Label or identify resident clothing when needed to ensure proper return
- Maintain laundry room cleanliness, organization, and machine upkeep
- Monitor supply levels and notify the supervisor when inventory is low
