Job Requirements
- Full-time employment
- Willingness to submit to a physical examination and meet physical requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift 40 pounds and push/pull 25 pounds
- Willingness and ability to fulfill job-related travel
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work varying shifts including weekends and overtime
- Must pass drug and alcohol pre-employment testing for safety-sensitive positions
Job Qualifications
- Housekeeping I requires no prior experience or education
- Housekeeping II requires six months experience in building or institutional custodial work or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to learn and apply specialized training for hazardous material disposal
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to perform duties including lifting up to 40 pounds and pushing or pulling up to 25 pounds
- Valid driver’s license for potential job-related travel
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Dispose of trash and maintain sanitary conditions
- Safely dispose of restricted or environmentally hazardous materials after training
- Handle hazardous or other restricted items in accordance with safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in an inpatient facility environment
- Work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols
