Job Requirements

  • ability to handle automatic floor scrubbing machines, floor buffers and wet and dry vacuum
  • availability to work evening shifts from 3 pm to 11 pm including weekends and holidays
  • high school diploma or GED
  • prior customer service experience
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks

Job Duties

  • maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions within hospital premises
  • operate cleaning equipment such as automatic floor scrubbers, floor buffers, and wet and dry vacuums
  • provide compassionate and courteous customer service to patients and their families
  • foster a supportive and warm atmosphere by engaging in friendly interactions
  • ensure compliance with infection control policies and safety standards
  • report any maintenance issues or hazards to appropriate hospital staff
