Job Requirements

prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, or polishing floors
knowledge of industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices is advantageous
familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
previous porter or facilities maintenance experience considered a strong asset
ability to follow detailed cleaning schedules and safety guidelines accurately
strong work ethic with flexibility to adapt to various cleaning tasks as needed

Job Duties

perform thorough cleaning of residential, commercial, or industrial spaces including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
use specialized equipment for floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, and maintaining various flooring surfaces
conduct janitorial duties including restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting to uphold health standards
assist with custodial responsibilities like restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly
support facilities maintenance by performing light repairs or coordinating with maintenance teams for larger issues
engage in industrial cleaning tasks when required including cleaning large machinery or specialized areas
maintain safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for all staff and visitors
