The Housekeeping Worker at Hilton plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall ambiance of the hotel’s designated areas. The Housekeeping Worker is responsible for cleaning public areas, offices, restrooms, conference rooms, and other locations in adherence to the highest hygiene and maintenance standards. Duties include wiping and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, shampooing carpets, washing windows, polishing floors, and managing waste removal. Beyond cleaning tasks, the role demands excellent customer service skills by greeting guests warmly and responding promptly to their requests.

Additionally, the Housekeeping Worker is tasked with monitoring hotel supplies to ensure upkeep and readiness for guests, reporting maintenance needs to management to maintain safety codes and operational standards, such as fire alarms, sprinklers, and plumbing. Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • excellent guest service and communication skills
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in hospitality
  • physical capability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • maintain and clean designated hotel areas including public spaces offices restrooms and conference rooms
