Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services preferred

  • basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • physical capability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • maintain and clean designated hotel areas including public spaces, offices, restrooms, and conference rooms
  • respond promptly to guest requests to ensure exceptional customer service
  • wipe and polish furniture and fixtures
  • vacuum, sweep, mop, and shampoo carpets
  • wash windows and polish floors
  • manage removal of trash and cleaning ashtrays
  • advise management of maintenance requirements to keep facilities up to code
  • monitor and maintain cleaning supplies based on demand and usage
  • execute in-depth cleaning duties and manage special cleaning projects
  • assist in maintaining tidiness of guest accommodations when needed
  • create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests warmly
