Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
  • ability to operate standard cleaning equipment and supplies

Job Duties

  • maintain and clean designated hotel areas including public spaces offices restrooms and conference rooms adhering to highest cleaning standards
  • wipe and polish furniture and fixtures
  • vacuum carpets sweep and mop floors shampoo carpets wash windows and polish floors
  • manage removal of trash and clean ashtrays
  • greet guests with a friendly hello to create an atmosphere of hospitality
  • report maintenance issues to management including fire alarms sprinklers plumbing and sewer systems
  • monitor and maintain cleaning supplies ensuring adequate inventory
  • perform deep cleaning duties and manage exclusive cleaning projects
  • fulfill guest requests and assist in maintaining tidiness of guest accommodations
