Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly to maintain a spotless and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, janitorial duties such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces are critical for promoting personal hygiene and safety throughout the property.

This role also requires performing floor care activities, including buffing, polishing, and stripping floors to enhance their cleanliness and appearance. You will assist with custodial duties related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects and support facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to help maintain the property's overall functionality and aesthetic appeal. Safety is paramount; therefore, all activities must align with established protocols to ensure accident prevention and compliance with health standards.

Prior janitorial or custodial experience is highly preferred for this position, along with familiarity with cleaning procedures, equipment use, and floor care techniques. Experience in commercial cleaning or residential facilities is advantageous, as is knowledge of industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance. Those with prior porter experience or similar roles involving maintaining cleanliness in busy environments will find this role especially suitable. The position demands physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
