Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience in a hotel or similar environment desirable
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Job Duties
- Maintain and clean designated hotel areas including public spaces, offices, restrooms, and conference rooms
- Wipe and polish furniture and fixtures
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and shampoo carpets
- Wash windows and polish floors
- Remove trash and clean ashtrays
- Greet guests with a friendly hello to create a hospitable atmosphere
- Report maintenance needs to management to ensure facility compliance with safety codes
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies based on demand
- Execute deep cleaning duties and manage special cleaning projects
- Fulfill guest requests and assist in tidying guest accommodations as needed
