Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • Equivalent to high school diploma or combination of education and experience
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
  • Willingness to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to extreme weather
  • Strong customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma
  • Any other combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath/kitchen areas, clean floors by vacuuming or washing, remove all trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grill, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all areas of hotel are up to company standards even if not assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas for quality cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
