Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- Equivalent to high school diploma or combination of education and experience
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to extreme weather
- Strong customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma
- Any other combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath/kitchen areas, clean floors by vacuuming or washing, remove all trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grill, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of hotel are up to company standards even if not assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas for quality cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
