Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
  • Possess good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to lift and/or move regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Availability to work flexible schedules
  • Commitment to superior customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience including good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards regardless of specific area assignment
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
