Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
- Ability to maintain high customer service standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques for housekeeping and laundry
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas
- Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove all trash from guest rooms
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows
- Remove trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards regardless of assignment
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
