Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain customer service standards
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Willingness to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Ability to follow safety and security policies

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas, clean all floors by vacuuming or washing, remove trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness standards even if not assigned directly
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
