The Housekeeper role at InTown Suites requires dedication to maintaining both guest rooms and the hotel's exterior areas to company standards. Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standards and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
  • Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces and be exposed to varying weather conditions
  • Good communication skills and ability to maintain superior customer service
  • Supportive of a diverse and inclusive team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standards and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, clean floors by vacuuming or washing, remove all trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outdoor areas
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company cleanliness standards regardless of assignment
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations or guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping carts with supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
