Job Qualifications

- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public
- Ability to maintain supplies, equipment, and housekeeping areas
- Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel and handle residents based on their current maturity level
Job Duties
- Ensure that work and cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical
- Report all accidents and incidents to your supervisor
- Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services during routine cleaning assignments in resident living and recreational areas
- Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies
- Wear and use safety equipment and supplies when lifting or moving heavy objects
- Maintain assigned work areas in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner
- Keep work and assignment areas free of hazardous objects
- Follow proper techniques when mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and cleaning solutions
- Refer to manufacturer’s instructions when necessary
