As a Housekeeping Team Member at The Nest at Black Hawk, you will be a crucial part of the hospitality team dedicated to maintaining the pristine condition and inviting atmosphere of the resort’s luxury accommodations and shared spaces. This part-time position offers a vital role in ensuring each guest dome and common area reflects the exceptional quality and attention to detail that guests expect from an upscale glamping resort. Responsibilities include thorough cleaning and sanitizing of living quarters, changing linens and replenishing supplies, and maintaining overall presentation according to strict brand standards. Housekeepers perform routine inspections to identify any maintenance or safety concerns and work collaboratively with the team to uphold The Nest’s high standards of cleanliness and comfort. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and possess a genuine commitment to excellent guest service. Additionally, the role requires flexibility, as hours may vary and include weekends and holidays based on occupancy demands.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
  • Availability to work weekends holidays and varied shifts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred hospitality experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically able to stand bend lift and move for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced guest-focused environment

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize guest domes between stays including bathrooms sleeping areas kitchenettes and living spaces
  • Replace linens towels and amenities according to brand standards
  • Restock guest supplies and report low inventory levels
  • Clean and maintain common areas service areas and staff spaces as assigned
  • Inspect accommodations for damage maintenance needs or safety concerns and report issues promptly
  • Follow established cleaning schedules checklists and safety procedures
  • Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly
  • Maintain a professional friendly and respectful demeanor when interacting with guests and team members
