Job Requirements

  • at least 1 year of housekeeping experience
  • high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand for eight hour shifts
  • ability to perform physical activities including sitting climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching or crawling
  • visual ability for close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and adjusting focus
  • willingness to work indoors across various surfaces including hard and carpeted floors
  • acceptance of exposure to extreme weather conditions both cold and hot

Job Qualifications

  • at least 1 year of housekeeping experience with a solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry best practices
  • high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • other forms of education or training that provide the necessary skills are welcome

Job Duties

  • ensure guest rooms are clean and well-maintained including thorough cleaning of bath and kitchen areas vacuuming or washing floors disposing of trash and dusting polishing furnishings
  • maintain the exterior appearance of rooms by cleaning sliding doors ac grills windows and picking up trash from surrounding areas
  • uphold high cleanliness standards throughout the hotel even outside your assigned areas
  • regularly inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • promptly report any safety or security violations as well as guest concerns to a supervisor
  • operate housekeeping equipment effectively and ensure the housekeeping cart is well-stocked with supplies
  • notify the head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready for guests
  • provide superior customer service while interacting with guests
