Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- minimum 1 year related housekeeping experience
- minimum 1 year supervisory experience
- ability to lift and move objects up to 55 pounds unassisted
- ability to push and pull housekeeping carts over uneven surfaces
- physical capability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
- ability to operate computers and POS systems
- adherence to safety and security policies
- strong interpersonal skills
- willingness to work evening shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- at least 1 year of related work experience in housekeeping
- at least 1 year of supervisory experience
- strong communication skills
- ability to use computers and point of sale systems
- knowledge of safety and security policies
- ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- good physical stamina and dexterity
Job Duties
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas for quality assurance after cleaning
- run sold room reports and verify room status
- determine and prioritize cleaning of discrepant rooms
- update status of departing guest rooms
- assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
- act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
- document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms
- prepare and communicate changes in room assignments
- communicate issues to next shift
- complete required paperwork
- follow company, safety, and security policies
- report maintenance problems and safety hazards
- provide excellent guest service including assistance to individuals with disabilities
- maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- move and handle heavy objects and housekeeping equipment
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned
