We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. This non-exempt position reports directly to the Director of Operations and plays a key role in the daily management and oversight of the Housekeeping staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping as well as supervisory skills to support and lead housekeepers in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guestrooms, hallways, lounges, and public areas.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will assist the Director of Housekeeping in managing daily operations, including assigning work schedules, monitoring the quality of cleaning, and ensuring that staff adhere to company policies and safety procedures. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate daily cleaning projects, manage linen inventory and distribution, and oversee time and attendance systems. The supervisor will ensure that housekeeping staff are properly trained, equipped, and motivated to deliver excellent service while maintaining productivity and budget controls.
Additionally, the Housekeeping Supervisor acts as a point of contact for guest requests related to housekeeping and works to resolve any issues promptly and professionally. The role demands a flexible schedule, a positive attitude, and the physical ability to perform or assist in housekeeping tasks when staffing levels are low. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to health and safety standards, including the enforcement of protective equipment use and chemical handling procedures.

Job Duties
- Assist Director of Housekeeping in their absence to facilitate daily housekeeping operations
- Provide feedback on staff performance to Director of Housekeeping
- Assign work to room attendants and support staff according to staffing guides and occupancy
- Ensure cleanliness and attractiveness of guestrooms and public areas
- Monitor housekeeping associates to guarantee proper training and adherence to company policies
- Manage time and attendance system compliance and uniform standards
- Assist in keeping payroll budgets in line with departmental budget
- Enforce use of cleaning chemicals and equipment per safety guidelines
- Schedule special cleaning projects
- Coordinate linen handling including inventory, distribution, and storage
- Ensure readiness of rooms reported timely to the front desk
- Comply with key security procedures
- Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from guests and management
- Perform housekeeping duties if staffing levels are inadequate
