Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial environment
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in indoor and outdoor environments
- Familiarity with housekeeping chemicals and safety standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must adhere to company policies and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial services
- Good organizational skills
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and time tracking software
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to housekeeping
- Experience with training and leadership
Job Duties
- Directs and trains workers engaged in general cleaning and upkeep of buildings including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing windows and curtains
- Works with events department and Requisition Conversion crew to review event schedules and create biweekly housekeeping schedules
- Maintains time in eTime and production records
- Ensures job assignments are completed during events or shifts
- Sets up venues as per written orders and equipment requirements
- Inspects completed work for quality and standard compliance
- Submits maintenance requests and requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies
- Interprets company policies and enforces safety regulations
- Ensures proper chemical use according to MSDS guidelines
- Enforces dress code and grooming standards
- Coordinates activities with other supervisors
- Performs duties of workers as needed
- Enforces all company policies and procedures
- Other related duties as assigned
