- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior work experience in environmental services preferred
- ability to lead a team including hiring and training
- patience and compassion with residents and family members
- effective communication skills with residents, family, and team members
- strong attention to detail
- knowledge of individual facility procedures and state regulations
- commitment to working with elderly
- not excluded from Medicare and Medicaid programs

Job Duties
- Manage overall housekeeping and laundry department operations
- control budget and staffing
- oversee cleaning, sanitation, and equipment maintenance
- ensure nursing facility cleanliness and sanitary conditions
- lead hiring and training staff
- maintain compliance with facility procedures and state regulations
- communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team
