Lakeland Community Care Center, a facility under the CommCare umbrella, is currently seeking to fill the role of Housekeeping Supervisor. This critical position is designed for an individual who can lead the housekeeping and laundry departments with efficiency and care, ensuring that the facility consistently meets the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation necessary for a healthful environment. The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations, from budget management to equipment upkeep, while fostering a team-oriented environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior work experience in environmental services preferred
  • ability to lead a team including hiring and training
  • patience and compassion with residents and family members
  • effective communication skills with residents, family, and team members
  • strong attention to detail
  • knowledge of individual facility procedures and state regulations
  • commitment to working with elderly
  • not excluded from Medicare and Medicaid programs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior work experience in environmental services preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage overall housekeeping and laundry department operations
  • control budget and staffing
  • oversee cleaning, sanitation, and equipment maintenance
  • ensure nursing facility cleanliness and sanitary conditions
  • lead hiring and training staff
  • maintain compliance with facility procedures and state regulations
  • communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team
