Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of supervisory experience or three years lead experience in housekeeping preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation policies
  • Ability to train and manage a team
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to comply with company uniform and punctuality standards

Job Qualifications

  • One year of previous supervisory or three years lead experience in housekeeping functions preferred
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Demonstrates leadership potential
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics
  • Ability to understand and carry out detailed, but uncomplicated, written or oral instructions
  • Basic knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions

Job Duties

  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager with daily duties
  • Ensure all employees report to duty punctually, well-groomed, and in proper attire
  • Assist in the development and implementation of schedules, duties, apparel, appearance, and conduct of all housekeeping staff
  • Train staff on Aramark and OSHA policies and procedures related to employment, safety, and sanitation
  • Manage guest relations and administer lost and found policy
  • Coordinate with maintenance to ensure timely repairs and cleaning before guest arrival
  • Control linen counts and handling, maintain inventory of rooms
  • Order and distribute supplies and equipment, controlling costs
  • Motivate housekeeping staff and maximize productivity
  • Ensure all work areas are neat, clean, and organized
  • Comply with company policies regarding safety, security, emergencies, and energy
  • Report to work on time and in complete uniform
