Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- availability to work flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
- ability to work well with a diverse group of people
- commitment to safety and good judgment
- willingness to support guest and associate needs
- previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
- valid driver’s license preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
- strong leadership and supervisory skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- good judgment and commitment to safety
- ability to work with diverse teams and guests
- availability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
- valid driver’s license preferred
Job Duties
- Supervise, direct, counsel, discipline associates in the work location
- complete required documentation
- complete guest-room task assignments daily
- respond to guest requests and inquiries
- report maintenance issues
- collect and label lost and found items
- respond to requests of team leaders
- clean and maintain all areas of guest rooms including making beds, cleaning bathroom fixtures, replacing amenities, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, mopping floors
- ensure all assigned public and shared areas are cleaned daily according to Carowinds standards
- work safely with chemicals following SDS guidelines
- use cleaning equipment according to safety guidelines
- utilize personal protective equipment as necessary
