The Housekeeping Supervisor role at Carowinds Camp Wilderness is a key position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of housekeeping within the guest accommodations and public areas. This supervisory role includes directing, counseling, and disciplining team members to ensure excellent standards are met consistently. The supervisor plays an active role in assigning daily guest-room tasks, responding to guest inquiries and maintenance issues, and managing lost-and-found procedures. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction are essential for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of all guest rooms and communal areas.

Beyond managing the housekeeping team, the Housekeeping Supervisor ensures all areas including hallways, pool areas, banquet spaces, elevators, and outdoor walkways meet Carowinds' cleanliness standards. The role demands thorough knowledge of cleaning protocols, safe handling of cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS), and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise, direct, counsel, discipline associates in the work location
  • complete required documentation
  • complete guest-room task assignments daily
  • respond to guest requests and inquiries
  • report maintenance issues
  • collect and label lost and found items
  • respond to requests of team leaders
  • clean and maintain all areas of guest rooms including making beds, cleaning bathroom fixtures, replacing amenities, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, mopping floors
  • ensure all assigned public and shared areas are cleaned daily according to Carowinds standards
  • work safely with chemicals following SDS guidelines
  • use cleaning equipment according to safety guidelines
  • utilize personal protective equipment as necessary
