The TownePlace Suites in Nashville, Tennessee, is currently offering a part-time, non-management position within their Rooms & Guest Services Operations department. This role is essential in providing seamless guest services while supporting the team with operational duties that ensure a superior guest experience. The key responsibilities center around front desk operations, including processing guest check-ins, resolving guest inquiries, handling payments, and managing room assignments. A strong emphasis is placed on accuracy and attention to detail, with duties involving the completion of cashier and closing reports, logging daily communications, and coordinating with various departments such as Bellperson and Housekeeping to ensure guest needs are met efficiently. Team collaboration and communication are vital aspects, as the role involves acting as a first point of contact to mediate issues and maintain communication with other hotel employees. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- at least 1 year of related work experience
- at least 1 year of supervisory experience
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- clear and professional communication skills
- ability to work part-time hours
- willingness to follow safety and confidentiality protocols
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system
- review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks
- contact appropriate individual or department to resolve guest call, request, or problem
- process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, verifying guest identity, requesting form of payment, assigning room, and issuing room key
- sell rooms/accommodations to walk-in guests based on availability
- ensure rates match market codes and document exceptions
- ensure checks from outlets are scanned and charged to rooms
- assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
- serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- complete safety training and certifications
- follow company policies and ensure professional appearance
- maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
- welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- anticipate and address guest service needs
- assist individuals with disabilities
