Job Description

Heritage Hotels & Resorts is New Mexico's premier locally owned hospitality group, renowned for its deep respect for culture, place, and people. With a portfolio that includes luxury hotels and award-winning restaurants, Heritage Hotels & Resorts has established itself as a leading name in the hospitality industry in the southwestern United States. The company is deeply rooted in authentic storytelling, exceptional service, and a commitment to community pride, which sets it apart from other hospitality providers. Their mission is to care for guests, employees, and the neighborhoods they serve with intentionality and genuine dedication. This commitment creates an enriching environment where guests experience unparalleled hospitality and employees find meaningful career growth and satisfaction.

Heritage Hotels & Resorts values leadership, quality, and the creation of unforgettable guest experiences. Their team is driven by a shared passion for excellence and a culture that embraces respect, service, and community connection. They believe the foundation of great hospitality is built on authentic engagement and attention to detail, and they work diligently to ensure that every guest interaction reflects these principles.

The role of Housekeeping Supervisor at Heritage Hotels & Resorts is a pivotal position within the organization. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, consistency, and care that define the guest experience at every property. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead daily housekeeping operations, working closely with the Housekeeping Manager to assign tasks based on hotel occupancy, arrivals, and departures. Your leadership ensures that every guest room and public space upholds the brand's high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.

The Housekeeping Supervisor is hands-on and highly visible within the team, providing support, coaching, and maintaining operational flow throughout the day. You’ll conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring compliance with stringent quality and safety guidelines. Communication is a critical part of the role, as you will regularly update room statuses with the Front Desk and work cross-functionally with Engineering and leadership teams to enhance overall service delivery.

Your responsibilities also extend to training, mentoring, and motivating the housekeeping team members to improve performance and foster a positive, service-driven culture. You will oversee deep cleaning programs for carpets, upholstery, windows, and specialty projects, ensuring that all efforts align with the company’s standards. You will also handle lost and found items securely and maintain essential operational documentation such as inspection logs and productivity tracking.

Safety, health, and sanitation are priorities in this role. The Housekeeping Supervisor will enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uphold compliance with all related standards. Responding promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns is another vital aspect of this position, as it directly impacts guest satisfaction and the hotel’s reputation.

Working at Heritage Hotels & Resorts offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including a 25% match for 401k contributions. Employees enjoy generous discounts across the company’s hotels, restaurants, spas, and retail locations. Additional perks include referral bonuses, complimentary meals during scheduled shifts, free employee parking, and ample opportunities for growth and development. The company fosters a supportive, people-first culture rooted in New Mexico pride and community values, making it an inspiring place for hospitality professionals to advance their careers and make a positive impact.
