This position is based at the JW Marriott Charlotte, a prestigious hotel property known for its sophisticated atmosphere and superior guest service. The Housekeeping Supervisor role is a critical leadership position responsible for upholding the hotel’s cleanliness and overall appearance to meet brand standards and guest expectations. This is a full-time position typically aligned with PM shift hours from 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm, providing flexibility that meets dynamic hotel operational needs. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in housekeeping management or custodial services
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning and floor care techniques
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Previous hospitality or hotel housekeeping experience preferred
  • Availability to work PM shifts from 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in housekeeping management custodial services or a related leadership role
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques floor care methods and housekeeping best practices
  • Previous hospitality or hotel housekeeping experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent high-quality results
  • Flexibility to work weekends holidays and varied shifts as business needs require

Job Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations including scheduling training and supporting staff
  • Ensure all guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces are cleaned and maintained according to established standards
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness safety and compliance with company and brand protocols
  • Manage housekeeping inventory including ordering and maintaining supplies and equipment
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services
  • Foster a positive work environment by mentoring staff promoting teamwork and modeling hospitality excellence
