The role of Housekeeping Supervisor at HHM Hotels is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff to ensure that brand and hotel guest service standards are consistently met. This supervisory role involves training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting associates to perform their duties efficiently and effectively. The Housekeeping Supervisor also plays a key part in sustaining HHM’s EarthView program by adhering to sustainability guidelines in daily operations. In this role, the Housekeeping Supervisor is tasked with screening and hiring new housekeeping associates when applicable, ensuring that all new employees are properly trained either through direct instruction or in partnership with external vendors. The supervisor is also responsible for directly handling or assisting with room cleaning tasks as necessary, issuing cleaning supplies, and addressing any performance or behavioral issues among associates or vendors to maintain a high standard of service. Managing laundry employees, preparing work schedules based on occupancy levels, and maintaining a safe workplace in compliance with OSHA standards are additional vital responsibilities. Furthermore, the supervisor assists with breakfast area duties and actively monitors guest service scores to implement improvements that drive higher guest satisfaction.
