Known for its dedication to excellence, sustainability, and professional growth opportunities, HHM Hotels provides a dynamic work environment where employees can thrive and develop their careers. With a strong emphasis on core values such as People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It, the organization fosters a culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and accountability. HHM Hotels operates a diverse portfolio of hotels, each designed to meet and exceed the expectations of travelers while championing environmentally responsible practices through its EarthView program. This commitment ensures that both guests and employees contribute positively to the community and the environment.
The role of Housekeeping Supervisor at HHM Hotels is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff to ensure that brand and hotel guest service standards are consistently met. This supervisory role involves training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting associates to perform their duties efficiently and effectively. The Housekeeping Supervisor also plays a key part in sustaining HHM’s EarthView program by adhering to sustainability guidelines in daily operations. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive wages, making it accessible to a range of candidates passionate about hospitality and guest service. Career growth is encouraged, with a clear path from Housekeeping Supervisor to Executive Housekeeper, Front Office Manager, Assistant General Manager, and eventually General Manager, reflecting the company’s commitment to internal advancement.
In this role, the Housekeeping Supervisor is tasked with screening and hiring new housekeeping associates when applicable, ensuring that all new employees are properly trained either through direct instruction or in partnership with external vendors. The supervisor is also responsible for directly handling or assisting with room cleaning tasks as necessary, issuing cleaning supplies, and addressing any performance or behavioral issues among associates or vendors to maintain a high standard of service. Managing laundry employees, preparing work schedules based on occupancy levels, and maintaining a safe workplace in compliance with OSHA standards are additional vital responsibilities. Furthermore, the supervisor assists with breakfast area duties and actively monitors guest service scores to implement improvements that drive higher guest satisfaction. This multifaceted role requires strong leadership abilities, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to hospitality excellence, making it ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
