Job Requirements
- Availability to work weekends and holidays preferred
- Physical ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects up to 55 pounds
- Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts over uneven surfaces
- Capacity to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to use computers and point of sale systems
- Attention to detail and ability to read small print
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain professional appearance
- Knowledge of safety and security policies
Job Duties
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool after cleaning to ensure quality standards
- Run sold room reports and verify room status
- Determine discrepant rooms and prioritize cleaning
- Communicate and coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching employees
- Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms
- Complete required paperwork and communicate changes in room assignments
