The role of Housekeeping Manager at Hyatt Place is integral to ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained. This position involves supervisory duties in the housekeeping department, including inspecting guest rooms, managing employee performance through counseling and interviews, and addressing guest complaints effectively. Additionally, the Housekeeping Manager undertakes various administrative tasks essential for the smooth operation of the department. Candidates for this role should possess a minimum of one year of hotel experience, preferably with prior supervisory experience in housekeeping. Excellent communication skills and basic computer proficiency are also required, ensuring efficient coordination and management. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, with shifts varying weekly and including weekends and holidays, typically starting as early as 7 AM and ending as late as 9 or 10 PM.
