Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience in housekeeping
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of hotel housekeeping techniques
  • Experience in supervising housekeeping staff
  • Ability to manage inventories and order supplies
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to respond promptly to guest requests and complaints
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and communication
  • Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping management role preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist the executive housekeeper in supervising housekeeping associates
  • Assist in scheduling and training all housekeeping staff
  • Act as a liaison between the director of housekeeping and housekeeping inspectors
  • Respond to guest requests and complaints concerning housekeeping
  • Inspect guest rooms to ensure quality and hotel standards
  • Maintain contact with front desk and sales to coordinate room occupancy
  • Fill in for executive or assistant housekeeper as needed
  • Assist in monthly inventories and ordering supplies and equipment
  • Maintain and issue housekeeping keys
  • Ensure staff adheres to uniform and grooming standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
