Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in housekeeping
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of hotel housekeeping techniques
- Experience in supervising housekeeping staff
- Ability to manage inventories and order supplies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to respond promptly to guest requests and complaints
- Basic computer skills for inventory and communication
- Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping management role preferred
Job Duties
- Assist the executive housekeeper in supervising housekeeping associates
- Assist in scheduling and training all housekeeping staff
- Act as a liaison between the director of housekeeping and housekeeping inspectors
- Respond to guest requests and complaints concerning housekeeping
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure quality and hotel standards
- Maintain contact with front desk and sales to coordinate room occupancy
- Fill in for executive or assistant housekeeper as needed
- Assist in monthly inventories and ordering supplies and equipment
- Maintain and issue housekeeping keys
- Ensure staff adheres to uniform and grooming standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
