This position is for a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor based at the Main Campus in North Carolina, operating within the Financial & Administrative Services division under the Facility Services department. The salary for this role ranges from $47,340.00 to $59,175.00 annually. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and operational readiness of campus facilities. They are responsible for coordinating and supervising custodial staff and managing cleaning operations to meet established standards. The position requires limited supervision and involves ensuring that cleaning procedures, safety practices, and equipment use align with college policies and regulatory guidelines.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will support the Facilities Services team by assigning daily work activities, monitoring performance, and providing necessary training and guidance to custodial employees. This role demands a hands-on approach, performing custodial duties as needed to maintain adequate coverage and completion of essential tasks. Additionally, the supervisor manages custodial supplies and equipment, overseeing inventory, ordering, and distribution. Job Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in custodial or facilities operations
- At least three years of demonstrated supervisory experience in custodial services, facilities operations, building services or related environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of custodial safety practices, SDS requirements and cleaning standards for educational or large organizational facilities
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License
Job Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in custodial or facilities operations
- At least three years of demonstrated supervisory experience in custodial services, facilities operations, building services or related environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of custodial safety practices, SDS requirements and cleaning standards for educational or large organizational facilities
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License
- Experience using work order and inventory management systems is preferred
- Prior educational facility cleaning experience is preferred
Job Duties
