Employees are supported through competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. The organization prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer, fostering diversity and inclusion across all roles.

The role of Housekeeping Supervisor at the Colorado Convention Center is a dynamic and vital position within the Housekeeping Department. Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager, this role is responsible for supervising and coordinating the housekeeping team to ensure the facility meets the organization's cleanliness and maintenance standards. This hourly, non-exempt position offers a competitive wage ranging between $32.00 and $33.00 per hour, varying based on experience and complying with prevailing wage laws when applicable. The position works shifts that may rotate among mornings, afternoons, and nights to provide comprehensive coverage during events.

A critical part of the position involves conducting inspections of cleaned areas to maintain superior facility standards. Additionally, this role includes responsibilities such as documenting accidents, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in supply inventory control. The supervisor also takes an active role in training new staff on housekeeping equipment, cleaning methods, and safety measures, reinforcing both operational excellence and compliance.

This opportunity comes with several employee benefits such as a $500 signing bonus after 30 days of service and an additional $500 bonus after 90 days, generous paid time off, holiday pay, medical, dental, and vision insurance starting upon hire, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching up to 4 percent, and flexible spending accounts. Additional perks include employer-paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, public transit benefits with an RTD Eco Pass for full-time employees, tuition reimbursement for salaried employees after one year, and an employee assistance program.

This role is ideal for candidates who have at least two years of janitorial or custodial experience and supervisory experience, especially within a union environment. Candidates should possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, proficiency with common software applications, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Given the varied physical demands, candidates must be prepared to work in various conditions, including standing for extended periods, use of equipment such as electric carts, and navigating shifting event schedules involving evenings, weekends, and holidays.
