Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • relevant training and experience
  • ability to lift and pull minimum 20 pounds
  • ability to push, bend, stoop, and reach upward
  • manual dexterity
  • good hearing, writing and typing skills
  • ability to follow hotel policies and procedures
  • must be able to handle multiple duties and adapt to change
  • availability to attend required meetings
  • other duties as assigned
  • familiarity with Fosse system

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • relevant training and experience in housekeeping or hospitality management
  • proficiency in English language
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to use office software accurately
  • hospitality sales experience
  • CPR and first aid training preferred
  • additional language ability preferred
  • comprehensive knowledge of hotel departments and functions
  • good mathematical and computer skills

Job Duties

  • Report to housekeeping office at the beginning and end of shift and manage keys
  • open and close the department in absence of Executive Housekeeper including room assignments and key boards
  • take all incoming housekeeping calls and respond to guest needs
  • perform inventories of supplies and order for par levels
  • log all missing items and maintain lost and found catalog and ship claimed items
  • report items needing repair and maintain equipment
  • protect guest safety and be courteous to guests and co-workers
