  • Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required
  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred

Job Duties

  • Train, schedule, coach and support associates ensuring they conform to brand or hotel standards and HHM core values
  • Screen job applicants and hire new housekeeping employees if applicable
  • Train staff or coordinate with external vendors to maintain cleaning efficiency and standards
  • Communicate guest service scores to staff to improve satisfaction
  • Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to associates
  • Occasionally assist in cleaning rooms or with housekeeping tasks
  • Address performance and behavior issues directly or through vendors
  • Supervise laundry staff if applicable
  • Prepare work schedules and manage staffing levels based on occupancy
  • Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM's EarthView program
  • Practice safe work habits and adhere to OSHA and MSDS standards
  • Assist in breakfast area as needed
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
