Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods
- Understanding of safety procedures and use of protective equipment
Job Qualifications

- Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Knowledge of cleaning standards and guest service excellence
- Ability to manage schedules and staffing effectively
- Familiarity with safety and sustainability guidelines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Train, schedule, coach and support housekeeping associates ensuring adherence to brand standards and HHM core values
- Screen job applicants and hire new housekeeping employees
- Train staff or coordinate with vendors for proper cleaning standards
- Monitor and communicate guest service scores to enhance guest satisfaction
- Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping associates
- Assist with room cleaning when necessary
- Address associate performance and behavior issues directly or through vendors
- Supervise laundry employees if applicable
- Prepare work schedules and coordinate staffing levels based on occupancy
- Follow sustainability policies in line with the EarthView program
- Practice and enforce safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment
- Assist in the breakfast area as needed
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
