Job Requirements

  • Valid work authorization for the USA
  • relevant housekeeping experience
  • ability to lift, carry, and climb
  • manual dexterity to use cleaning tools

Job Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in housekeeping or cleaning service work
  • great communication skills
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to train and supervise staff
  • experience with Hyatt Systems (BOB and Opera) preferred
  • strong organizational skills
  • attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Training and evaluating the efficiency of housekeeping staff
  • conducting inspections of rooms to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks
  • overseeing housekeeping staff and assessing workloads
  • cleaning guestrooms including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows and mirrors
  • emptying trash and recycling bins, replacing towels and restocking guest room amenities
  • inspecting guestrooms after cleaning to ensure brand standards
  • checking common areas for cleanliness and order
  • reporting maintenance deficiencies
  • greeting guests with friendly acknowledgement
  • responding to guest inquiries and requests
  • providing information about hotel services and amenities
  • maintaining a positive and helpful attitude
  • assisting room attendants with cleaning and stripping guestrooms
  • responding quickly to special guest requests
  • ensuring safety and security of guest rooms
  • communicating with the front desk staff about room status
  • assisting Housekeeping Manager with monthly inventories
  • managing room assignments fairly using property management systems
  • following hotel procedures and guidelines
  • maintaining clean and organized work area
  • securing keys, equipment, and supplies
  • communicating shift information to incoming staff
  • performing other assigned duties
