Job Requirements
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must have a desire to serve all guests
- Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on the demands of the hotel
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and not work off the clock
- Must clock in/out for breaks at designated times
- Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift
- Must be able to stand or remain stationary for 3-4 hours at a time
- Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, lift and transport supplies up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to operate office machinery and perform data entry
- Must be able to inspect and observe details at close and long range

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily with a smile and use their names to ensure a welcoming experience
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- Support awareness of all groups and events at the hotel
- Answer all incoming calls professionally with approved greetings
- Keep all workspaces sparkling clean and well-organized
- Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests by name while performing cleaning duties
- Complete operational checklists accurately each shift
- Prepare and deliver accurate shift handover reports
- Wear clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to assist beyond traditional roles
- Collaborate effectively to create a positive workplace environment
- Manage guest request log proactively to address issues
- Oversee VIP guests and special requests
- Lead daily housekeeping team stand-ups and assign checklists
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and quality
- Maintain organization of storage and housekeeping rooms
- Stock guest and cleaning supplies for housekeeping carts
- Remove trash and dirty linen, replace bed linens and supplies
- Perform deep cleaning activities as needed with maintenance
- Conduct daily department meetings in absence of Executive Housekeeper
- Order and maintain stock of housekeeping supplies
- Complete monthly and quarterly inventory counts
- Submit and follow up on maintenance requests
- Balance and clear room status reports nightly
- Manage lost and found procedures
- Ensure compliance with chemical safety standards per OSHA
- Maintain departmental key control system
