Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to walk, kneel, stoop, and stand for entire shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or move objects up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Open availability or evening shift availability
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Must be service oriented with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to follow safety and security procedures
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work under time constraints and remain calm
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years experience in hospitality or equivalent establishment preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and web analytics tools preferred
  • Working knowledge of property safety and security procedures
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Energetic and outgoing personality
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow directions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand and work with basic financial information
  • Typing speed of 45 wpm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Team player with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, guest corridors, elevators, and all assigned areas
  • Deliver items to guest rooms such as irons, towels, and extra pillows
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and pool/health club
  • Strip beds, remove soiled linen and trash from guestrooms
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in guest room areas, balconies, and hallways
  • Dust furniture, lamps, headboards, pictures, and clean kitchen and bathroom areas
  • Report missing or found articles, damage, or maintenance issues to housekeeping supervisor
  • Respond to guests, managers, and associates in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner
  • Follow safety, security procedures, and company policies
