Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of hospitality or equivalent experience required
- Ability to walk, kneel, stoop, and stand for entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- Availability to work evening shifts or open availability
- Proficient in English language reading, writing, and comprehension
- Basic computer skills including typing 45 wpm and data input
- Must follow company policies and procedures
- Must maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in hospitality or equivalent establishment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic web analytics tools preferred
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to adhere to safety and security procedures
- Energetic and outgoing personality
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, guest corridors, elevators, and assigned areas
- Deliver items to guest rooms such as irons, towels, and extra pillows
- Strip beds, remove soiled linen and trash from guestrooms
- Clean bedroom and closet areas thoroughly, including dusting furniture and cleaning bathrooms
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in guest rooms, balconies, and hallways
- Report any maintenance issues, missing or found articles to Housekeeping Supervisor
- Respond courteously and promptly to guests, managers, and associates
