Job Requirements

  • Ability to continuously sit or stand
  • capability to climb stairs as needed
  • capacity to walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout shifts
  • able to use personal protective equipment including gloves
  • regularly lift 20 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds
  • occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • work in environmental conditions including extreme heat, cold, dirt, or dust
  • obtain nonslip shoes within two weeks of first pay period

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education, or combination of education and experience
  • minimum of two years of work experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles
  • flexible schedule with availability for after hours and weekend shifts
  • ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification within designated time frame

Job Duties

  • Report to Housekeeping Management team for work assignments
  • clean interior and exterior areas of Catholic Charities properties
  • assist with special projects including moving, painting, deep cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, furniture assembly, and yard work
  • report any cleaning needs not currently assigned to supervisors
  • identify and report repairs or damages requiring maintenance
  • protect confidential information and company property
  • comply with safety rules and regulations
  • perform other related duties as assigned
