Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • basic understanding of safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Clean and maintain assigned hotel areas including offices, banquet/meeting/conference rooms, public spaces, and restrooms
  • promptly address guests' concerns and requests
  • dust, polish furniture and fixtures
  • vacuum, mop, sweep, and shampoo carpets
  • wash windows and clean and wax floors
  • dispose of garbage and ashtrays
  • warmly greet guests and create a welcoming environment
  • identify and address safety hazards immediately
  • accurately label items in stockrooms with identification tags
  • conduct comprehensive cleaning tasks and complete distinct assignments
  • assist with hygiene of guest rooms when required
