Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred
- knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
- ability to follow safety procedures
- good communication skills
- customer service orientation
- attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Job Duties
- carefully clean and maintain assigned sections of the hotel premises
- promptly address guests' concerns and contribute to outstanding guest experiences
- ensure designated areas like offices, banquet/meeting/conference rooms, public areas, and restrooms are maintained to the required standards
- perform dusting and polishing of furniture and fixtures
- vacuum, mop, sweep, shampoo carpets, wash windows, clean and wax floors
- dispose of garbage and ashtrays properly
- demonstrate a welcoming environment by warmly greeting newcomers
- identify and address safety hazards immediately to prevent accidents
- ensure accurate labeling of items in stockrooms
- complete comprehensive cleaning tasks and take charge of distinct assignments
- respond attentively to guest demands and assist with guest room hygiene when called upon
