Job Description

Northgate Resorts is a nationally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, owning and managing the most awarded Camp-Resort portfolio across the United States. Known for their dedication to creating unforgettable family camping experiences, Northgate Resorts offers guests the opportunity to build lifelong memories in beautiful, well-maintained environments. The company prides itself on operating as a cohesive, passionate team committed to making a positive impact on every guest's visit, emphasizing a culture of collaboration, care, and excellence. With a fast-paced yet highly effective organizational structure, Northgate Resorts continually strives to innovate and improve its service offerings, all while maintaining a lean operation that responds dynamically to the needs of its guests and the market.

The Housekeeping Team at Northgate Resorts plays a crucial role in upholding the cleanliness and comfort of the park cabins, lodges, and other private guest quarters owned by the company. This team is divided into three main positions: Cabin Attendants, Housekeeping Inspectors, and Laundry Attendants, each contributing uniquely to the overall guest experience. The Housekeeping role is seasonal and can be either full-time or part-time, reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper.

Cabin Attendants are primarily responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest accommodations, ensuring that cabins are well-stocked, orderly, and welcoming. They handle tasks such as trash removal, linen collection, climate control setup, and maintenance issue reporting. Housekeeping Inspectors focus on inspecting cabins to verify cleanliness standards are met or exceeded, mentoring housekeeping staff, and coordinating with the Guest Relations team to ensure room readiness and resolve discrepancies. Meanwhile, Laundry Attendants manage the collection, washing, drying, folding, and storage of all linens, ensuring they meet or exceed brand standards while maintaining equipment and monitoring supply levels.

This role demands a strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Candidates need to be physically capable of performing the essential functions, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, maintaining positions for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. Basic computer skills are also necessary, along with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. The position requires availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the 24/7 nature of the hospitality business.

By joining Northgate Resorts, team members contribute directly to the company's mission of delivering exceptional camping experiences. The seasonal Housekeeping positions provide an opportunity to work in an engaging, supportive environment where teamwork and personal responsibility are valued. Northgate Resorts is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion, and participates in the E-Verify Program to ensure employment eligibility. The pay range for this position is $16.40 to $16.90 per hour, offering competitive compensation for the essential work performed to maintain the quality and satisfaction of the guest experience.
