We are currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. As a Housekeeper at River Oaks of Minnesota, you will play a vital role in upholding the facility’s standards for cleanliness and safety. You will perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks across resident rooms, common areas, and assigned facility spaces, ensuring that every corner of the facility meets the highest hygiene standards. Adhering to sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures is a key component of your duties to protect both residents and staff from potential health risks.

Your responsibilities will also include restocking housekeeping carts, maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment, and assisting with linen changes, trash removal, and floor care such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors is essential to maintaining a safe living environment. You will also support a positive resident experience by responding courteously to requests and sustaining a professional demeanor at all times. Collaboration is encouraged among team members and across departments to ensure that cleanliness and quality standards are consistently met. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if required
