As a Housekeeper at Crystal Creek, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the living environment. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms daily to uphold infection control standards. You will also handle laundry services, ensuring residents’ clothing and linens are properly washed, dried, and folded. Attending to waste disposal, restocking supplies, and supporting room preparations for new admissions and discharges are key functions of this role. It requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, effective communication with staff, residents, and families, and the physical stamina to perform cleaning duties efficiently.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Physical stamina

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms daily
  • Perform laundry services for residents including washing, drying, and folding clothes and linens
  • Ensure proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials following safety protocols
  • Restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages
  • Assist in the preparation of rooms for new admissions or discharge of residents
  • Follow established infection control procedures and maintain a safe and hygienic environment
  • Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families regarding cleaning needs and schedules
