Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively within a team
- strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
Job Duties
- Carefully clean and maintain assigned sections of the hotel premises
- promptly address guests' concerns to create outstanding guest experiences
- ensure designated areas like offices, banquet/meeting/conference rooms, public areas, and restrooms are meticulously cleaned and maintained
- perform tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning and waxing floors, disposing of garbage and ashtrays
- warmly greet newcomers to demonstrate a welcoming environment
- identify and address all safety hazards immediately to prevent potential accidents
- ensure all items in stockrooms are accurately labeled with designated identification tags
- accomplish comprehensive cleaning tasks and manage distinct assignments
- be attentive to guest demands and contribute to the hygiene of guest rooms when called upon
