The company fosters a supportive and friendly work culture where employees take pride in making meaningful moments together with owners and guests. It emphasizes a work environment that values teamwork, development, and personal fulfillment. MVW offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package to support its employees' health, well-being, and professional growth.
The role of a Senior Housekeeper at MVW is a critical position within the operations team. This role is tailored for individuals who are passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality that enhance the guests' vacation experience. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage of $23.30, primarily on the first shift. The Senior Housekeeper plays a key part in ensuring the quality and comfort of owners’ and guests’ accommodations, contributing directly to the resort's reputation for excellence.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and condition of guest rooms, villas, public spaces, and other resort areas, while leading by example within the housekeeping team. You will perform detailed inspections of rooms after they have been cleaned, promptly respond to guest and departmental requests, and manage the status reporting for your assignments. A Senior Housekeeper is expected to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and a guest-centric attitude at all times.
Apart from routine housekeeping duties, the Senior Housekeeper also actively contributes to a warm and welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests and anticipating their needs. The role demands physical endurance, including standing, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and performing various motions throughout the shift, which often includes weekends, holidays, and varying hours.
MVW encourages employee growth and development and offers several site-specific perks such as seasonal retention bonuses, access to ski-in/ski-out work locations during winter, discounts on food services, and opportunities for monthly recognitions and rewards. Employees benefit from generosity in tuition reimbursement, professional counseling, credit union memberships, and travel discounts, among others.
