Job Requirements
- Physical ability to perform role duties including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing
- Willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing demands

Job Duties
- Maintain friendly, efficient, and positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
- Maintain all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner to protect safety and health of others and comply with preventative maintenance procedures
- Inspect and use judgment to determine appropriate cleaning techniques outlined in orientation guidelines
- Demonstrate efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and cleaning solutions
- Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment
- Employ universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials
- Keep cleaning cart properly stocked with equipment and supplies, ensure chemicals are accurately labeled, and maintain equipment in good working condition
- Promote effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships and maintain professional conduct
- Assist in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department
- Commit to professional growth and competence by adhering to training commitments
