The Housekeeper role at Civitas Senior Living is integral to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all residents. The housekeeper will be responsible for tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning windows and blinds, ensuring that all cleaning activities meet the community's standards and guidelines. The role involves frequent interaction with medical staff, nursing personnel, residents, family members, and visitors, requiring excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.

In addition to performing standard housekeeping duties, the housekeeper must be vigilant about resident safety and adhere strictly to all regulatory requirements concerning residents' rights. The role demands the ability to work efficiently in an environment with frequent interruptions while maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization. Exposure to hazards such as falls, burns, dust, disinfectants, and smoke is possible, making safety consciousness essential. While knowledge of equipment operation is important, chemical exposure is preferably minimal.
