Job Requirements

able to see and hear with or without restriction
must practice and promote the community's guidelines, policies, procedures, mission statement, values, and goals
willingness to work in an environment with possible exposure to falls, burns, dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoke, and other hazards
ability to work efficiently with frequent communication and interruptions
no chemical exposure required is preferred

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
strong attention to detail
good communication skills
ability to handle frequent interruptions
knowledge of resident rights and care standards
compassionate and respectful demeanor

Job Duties

Sweep
mop
vacuum
dust
clean windows
clean blinds
ensure compliance with residents' rights regulations
follow company policies and procedures
perform other duties as assigned
communicate frequently with medical staff, nursing personnel, residents, family members, and visitors
