This specific opportunity is for a full-time, non-management position within the Rooms & Guest Services Operations category at a JW Marriott location in Portland, Oregon. As part of a dedicated team in a luxury hospitality setting, this role is essential in creating unique and unforgettable experiences for guests. The position centers on providing comprehensive support across multiple departments including housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, and front desk. The team member will deliver essential items directly to guest rooms and assist various hotel areas as required to promote seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

The role demands an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who will actively engage in numerous physical tasks throughout their shift. This includes standing, sitting, frequent walking, maneuvering through tight spaces, climbing stairs and service ramps, and handling equipment and tools safely. A key component of the role is the ability to lift, carry, push, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds independently, while also performing various motions such as reaching, kneeling, turning, stretching, and bending. Maintaining a professional appearance, communication, and adherence to company policies and quality standards are fundamental expectations.
